Everyone's life has changed in the past six months. The news agenda leaves us numb and it is impossible to remain indifferent to what is happening in the world. It is especially difficult when you realise that you cannot directly influence the injustice taking place.

“Do not go out the window” online exhibition represents international artists and their works with a sharp political, and social message. Like ray of lights, artworks help us look at ourselves, at our problems, problems with which we don’t have to accept. They help us to remember serious political, economic, social, and environmental problems. Remember that it’s not the norm, and we must continue to stand up for our values and ideals.

Religious motives and biblical scenes are among the most favorite subjects for artists of all times because they are full of mystical experiences and multicultural narratives. Christianity since its very beginning has been a religion based on iconical images. We can remember many great painters in the Middle Ages and in the Renaissance. But these were the times when most people were believers. Why do we thrill so deeply when we see these icons now?

The Shape of Color project is a kind of manifest of the unlimited possibilities of our perception.
Marina WitteMann, being a synesthete, feels the world a little deeper and more fully than the other persons, she sees in color the emotional states of surrounding people, vivid experiences, pain, anger and euphoria. That is why the works presented at the exhibition strive to break out of the framework of generally accepted art forms. That which had no volume, breaks through the two-dimensional space, color acquires shape, paper — texture, depth. Each work at the exhibition is an outspoken image formed through the prism of the artist's perception, through the fusion of several sensory levels at once.
