LUCIE MINK
Lucie Mink is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist and writer based in Berlin, Germany. Working primarily with generative artificial intelligence, photography, and creative writing, her ideas take various forms based on the topics or questions she explores. Lucie’s work investigates latent desires in luxury consumer markets and how they are reflected in cultural value systems. With over 10 years of experience as a journalist, copywriter, brand strategist and communications manager in the high art and luxury industries, she aims to answer the long-contested question of ‘why we buy’ through various creative channels.
Lucie’s image-making process combines tools from digital photography to Photoshop to several artificial intelligence softwares. Her images humorously straddle the line between hyperrealism and uncanny computer generation. Lucie’s goal is to leave viewers delighted, intrigued and just a little bit disturbed.
