Nat was born in Naberezhnye Chelny in 1986. The surname Apanay (Apanaevs) is known all over the world for talented descendants from the USA to Japan and came from the ancient Kazan merchant family, whose followers were enlighteners and patrons, mentions of which date back to the 15th century.
From 2004 to 2010, she studied at the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in Kazan, specializing in urban planning. In parallel, she received a second degree - a translator from English. Nat spent her summer student days in workshops and galleries in New York and London, practicing abstract painting skills.
In 2012, she moved to Moscow and worked as the chief architect at the «Toyota & Lexus Representative Office», where she was responsible for the development and implementation of architecture and brand design standards. In 2014, she was invited to the Jaguar Land Rover Representative Office also as the chief architect. She supervised the construction of the Brand Center, a boutique and a racing training ground on the territory of Agalarov Estate in cooperation with Crocus LLC, one of the leaders in development.
By 2016, Nat held the position of Senior Architect in one of the largest Moscow companies - Capital Group. Until 2018, she managed projects in collaboration with the Moscow Construction Department. She worked with top companies such as the architectural bureaus SOM and Herzog de Meuron, design bureaus Pierre-Yves Rochon Paris, Massimo Iosa Ghini and Citterio Viel, etc.
In 2018, having achieved serious career heights, she realized that the need for author's self-expression prevails over all rational arguments. Nat left the prestigious work and retired to the workshop, sometimes leaving her for meditation in the mountains of Nepal, Japan, India, studying the philosophy of Asia. During the year, the artist created a series of abstract works devoted to the potentials of living beings and the multidimensionality of reality.
A thirst for information, a constant search for ideas and answers led Nat to the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov, where the artist found a source of inspiration for his creative work, together with the study of scientific works on neurophysiology, lectures on quantum physics and cosmology, as well as manuals on human anatomy .
In parallel with her studies and work in the studio, Nat entered the undergraduate program at the prestigious British Chelsea College of the Arts in London, whose graduates are internationally renowned artists.
«I remember very clearly how, at the age of five, from my birth a dream broke out in me - to become a famous artist. But, as she grew older, drove herself to the norms and standards in order to survive, tried to be obedient and correct - the same as everyone else. But she even physically felt the foreignness of the environment in which she came for money, comfort, an apartment in Moscow, a vibrant life, hedonism and lightness. Throughout this time, I searched for myself through science, psychoanalysis, esotericism and much more. I understood what it means to be myself. When I was reborn, I got to my very childhood, having forgiven and accepted myself, freed from self-identification through the bodily - both male and female principles harmoniously exist in me, I feel like an androgyne. And now I embody my thoughts and ideas, love and hate in what I do - I create endless worlds. I have chosen an honest path of research, it is complex and has no completion. »
